His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch preached about kingly virtues during the coronation of His Majesty the King on Sunday. The Supreme Patriarch officiated the sermon as part of religious rites for the coronation at the Amarindra Vinijaya Throne Hall. During his sermon, the Supreme Patriarch explained the 10 virtues to be upheld by a king. They are as follows:The king must look after palace retainers, officials, the clergy and the people in general with wisdom as guidance. The king must also avoid unsavoury conduct in regard to administration -- anything which goes against the constitution, law, and traditional practices.
